The Late Night Triad, by Jason Salavon
Here's a clip from Jason Salavon's Late Night Triad, in which 2 months of late night talk shows have been blended into a single movie. There's Jay Leno on the left, Conan O'Brian in the middle, and David Letterman on the right.
This seems relevant to me in that, in addition to revealing the parameters of the way he various hosts move and behave, it reminds me that when you're watching a show like this you're not just watching the individual broadcast—you're basically watching a single instance of the show, being presented with a moment in flow, and works like this reveal that flow for what it is. They expose the structure of late night television, and are in a sense maps of those spaces.
